Walkersville Southern holds many special events during the year. The most popular, of course, are our Santa trains in late November and early December, and our Bunny trains in the spring. We require reservations for both events.
We also celebrate Fourth of July with our Star-Spangled Fireworks Special, and our Ghost Train in late October
is fast becoming one of our most popular events.
Our Teddy Bear Picnics are quite popular with the kids, and offer a midweek activity during the summer. We also have magic trains and Bubbles in the Breeze trains during the summer that are always popular with the younger set.
We have visits from Jesse James and his gang several times each season, and the Civil War reenactors are also popular with our riders each year.
