1942 Davenport

This Davenport was built in 1942 for an army fort in Maryland. It weighs 20 tons, and originally had a Leroi gas engine and was later repowered with a Cummins "H" diesel. It is currently being repowered again with another "H" Cummins diesel and automatic transmission.

The locomotive was moved from Kentucky to WS in 2008 where it is being restored. It is owned by the Chesapeake Railway Assn.
